  I have tried to put a moticom on here with my post.

  I place my coarser - like you do, and select my emoticon.  It then says it can't
  place it as I have no coarser in place.

  Have tried a few times and I think I must be missing something as they go
  onto my E Mails OK.

  Oh, it's off another site - not our ' faces '.              ::)

Flossy what are you doing to get your emoticon on here - how are you trying to do it?

Edit:  I'll just type how I do it.

Find the picture that you want to use.
Right click on it.
Select properties.
Highlight the entire web address and click copy
Come to A4A and click on the 'Insert Image' button (second icon, bottom row)
Paste your image between the brackets. [ img ] web address in here [ /img ]
Preview or Post.  Voila!
