ID Please
« on: October 24, 2008, 18:51:45 »
Has anyone any idea what this is, please?

This is a seed sown from Jungle Seeds, so haven't a clue what it can be as there were all different seeds in the packet.

The thorns on the stem look like a rose but there are also sharp little hooks all over the leaves.

Many thanks if you can help

you must have some idea what you sowed. We could be here until it's grown into a 30ft tree

Jungle seeds. com send you ten seeds out of a selection of at least 60 different plants it could be.

So, thought it was an odd looking leaf to be covered in hooks and the thorn like a rose bush on the stem might have inspired a knowledgeable person to know what  it was ;D

Hi Sinbad. I have no idea I'm afraid but they are a helpful bunch at Jungle Seeds.  Why not email them the pic and ask for help?

Hi ber77tie,  just googled it and although the leaves look similar there is no mention of thorns on the stem and hooks on the leaves.

I have sent and email and pic of it to Jungleseeds, so hopefully they will reply.
