hi richard,
I'm a chinese. We're lived on rice. But I ever think of growing rice at all. did you know there's a lot of steps you have to do before it turn to the rice that we can eat? And you talking about growing plot size at least 6'x4' you lucky to get 2 little bowl of it! And the weather is here I don't think you have any chance. Maybe I'm wrong?

Yuet, I think Richard was joking!!

Actually, after the amount of rain we've had......... :-\

I bought a boat the other week, and hubby and I were manhandling it into back garden so that we could overhaul her. A passing dogwalker said " I know we've had a lot of rain, but aren't you going a bit too far?". We told him that we like to be prepared.

Actually, if it rains much more, I shall be sailing to Tesco.

Ha hah ha!!

Actually, Tresco would be much more appealing. Our local Tesco is undergoing a refit, because apparently our world will not be complete until every local supermarket has a hot chicken counter!!  The main difference we have noticed so far is their total inability to stock any dairy produce whatsoever.

Wonderful this progress innit!!

Tina.

Unlikely Doris, OH's main hobby is cooking. I suspect he would go pale at even the thought of buying something ready cooked!!

Never mind, forecast for bank holiday is actually rather good!

Hoping for sun and a bit of wind today as I am competing in my first sailing regatta!!
