Went to fill up the truck this morning and noticed the price of petrol had dropped under the £1 again. Now before it went up diesel was a couple of pence more than petrol, now it is 10p dearer than petrol. It has nothing to do with emissions etc as a lot of diesels are cleaner than cars, also you get stung in London for emmissions in old diesel trucks. So it makes sense to own a cleaner one.
I reckon we are still being had and the cost of transporting goods is being kept artificially high for no good reason.
I cannot see diesel costing more to make as over on the continent it was always cheaper than petrol until the last bout of highway robbery by the oil giants.
