Follow spuds with....

Now we're into lifting spuds. What should we consider to over winter in the space? Green manure is a thought, but something more 'profitable'?

You can plant garlic, onions, broadbeans, some raddish (long white ones), if it stays warm you may get a crop of spinich.

I usually plant my winter greens as in spring cabbage ,Purple sprouting brocolli etc, where my maincrop tatties have been .Jim

Just cleared one area of spuds today. Last visit to plot until next Wed or so. Meantime I'll have a look round for winter green seeds. Ta!
