Blackmoor Apple Tasting - We shall be holding an open day with nursery tours and advice on Sunday 12th October as part of the renowned annual Blackmoor Apple Tasting Day. This popular, free local event is in its 39th year and is an opportunity for fruit enthusiasts to taste a wide variety of old and new apple and pear varieties. Apple ‘doctors’ will be on hand to identify mystery apples and apple ailments and other attractions will include a rural craft fair and demonstrations; village fete; horse and cart rides; local produce stalls and Blackmoor cider!
