Hi everyone
My daughter went into hospital tonight at 6pm to have our 4th grandchild whom refuses to make an appearance her due date was last thursday

she was 2 weeks late with her first one then she was 37 weeks when she had the twins and this 1 is late aswell I think she is going to have a what they say a lazy girl

they told her this 1 could be about 9 and half pounder
Caitlin was 6pound 11 the twins were 5,9 and 5.10and a half I dont some how think she will have any more after this 1

That must be so exciting waiting for a new granchild to come, my Dad always said it was the best thing that ever happened to him having Grandchildren.
Hmmm, wonder what he would think of them as teenagers now though!
Hope the wait is not too long for you Gardencarer, at least you can chat on here for a while longer till we all go to bed!
Hope it all goes well.

2 weeks late, my mum always said you shouldn't do things by halves so i went 4 weeks before baby number two decided to come out. :o.
i hope you get to hug that grandchild soon, my mum adores hers, spoils them something rotten :D.

Hi all
I always spoil ours aswell
we live in the north east and my daughter lives in a place called Skelmersdale in lancashire we go down about 4or5 times a year and i have always got bags full of goodies to take with us

Hope all goes well. I may miss out on the birth news as I am off to Hemsby for a few days with daughter Lorna and Grandson Joshua (back Friday)

My mid-wife used to a good HOT curry should get things moving.
Good luck. It doesn't matter if it's no 1 or number 10 it's still so exciting waiting to greet that new little person into the world.

My daughter had tried hot curry,Herbal teas chilli but nothing worked she was a week over thursday gone went into hospital last night to be induced and even that hasnt worked
