sprouts underplanted with dwarf kale?

has anyone tried this ? will it work? Space is getting short already and the sprouts are widely spaced so I popped the kale inbetween but will I end up with no kale or poor sprouts? please tell

I have done this quite often with summer cabbage . Planted sprout then cabbage alternately along a row. When cabbage are ready they are picked, leaving sprouts spaced out nicely in row to mature..  Think trouble you may find is Kale stays in ground longer than sprouts so it may get a bit crowded in your row..So picking the sprouts from the bottom of the plant  may be a problem..

it is going to be competitive to say the least as Kale plants get quite big (even the dwarf ones) and although in theory you can pick kale at any time it is best left for the frost to get to it - but you might have to pick it early to keep the plants smaller - make sure the bed is watered well so they don't compete for water and maybe feed the sprouts, the kale generally will look after itself
