Afternoon tea anyone?
« on: June 15, 2008, 16:01:29 »
The weather is not so good today so I made the 4lb of strawberries that I pulled yesterday into jam, and as there was nothing to eat it with made some bread and scones.  The whipped cream will finish it off nicely.

The jam cost 30 pence a jar, the bread 30 pence a loaf and the scones 30 pence the lot!

Yum - I am so hungry now!
What I lack in ability and experience, I make up for in sheer enthusiasm!!!

That looks fantastic, hope you enjoyed your afternoon tea.
Was going to make some scones to have with my home made jam but got distracted by work on lottie!
