Wood presevatives on Bird Tables
« on: June 10, 2008, 19:27:49 »
My wooden bird table is in need of some preservative.  What is recommended and safe for the birds?  What do others people use? One manufacturer claims there product is safe for pets and fish, so I assume also birds.

Hi Shirley. How bout going on the RSPB website and emailing one of the wardens. Maby they can help. Or WWT, Wildfowl And Wetlands Trust. They have feeders all over their sites so they will know. Hope you find out. Jasmine
