I used to be a big fan in the beginning. it was riviting to watch people interact and see how society and the media reacted to it. Watching Nasty Nick in the first series get caught out is one of the best TV moments i have ever seen. I watched a couple more series after that.

In my opinion it has now become a perverse freak show that preys on desperate, damaged volunteers. All the people who go in it now, know the score. They know that they have to be outrageous and try to get famous for doing anything. They know where the cameras will be and spend all their time acting. I have been seriously worried for the sanity of some guests in recent series.

However, i am aware that some people and some of the media are quite snobbish about BB and dismiss it out of hand. Just because something is popular and not high-brow, does not make it a bad thing.

I did my usual "I am NOT watching it again" for the first two nights, now the live feed is on as long as I'm in the house.

I justify it by using it as an interesting psychological experiment.   :P

And those "freaks" are someone's Mum, Dad,  daughter, son, sister, brother, friend etc.  Some of them I wouldn't particularly fancy having a cup of tea with, but for the most of them it's the only chance they'll ever get to win £100k.  I'd do it if they asked me !

Mo to go !  Lisa to win !

nope, draw the line there. :P

Keeping my fingers crossed that they come out in this order:

5) Rex - absolutely can't STAND the man.  Total bully despite him trying to have a change of spots this week.
4) Darnell - that man needs some serous therapy.
3) Sarah - she does herself no favours at all - i'd have told Rex to stuff his fags a long time ago.
2) Rachel - the disney girl hasn't done enough to win imho but don't dislike her.
1) Mikey - Has made the journey well.  Has me in stitches when he's in the diary room.

can't believe it's nearly over.  it's been soooooooooooo long .......... and now it's the end of the summer too.   :-[

Still there's always Strictly on Saturday which will take us through to Christmas.   :P

Sarah or Rachel for me, Mickey will be getting the sympathy vote and I suppose he will win, totally agree Darnell needs help and Rex is just an arrogant sod ;)

Turned BB off after watching Sarah being evicted, now let me guess Mickey will win and why, well if you walk on to a programme sponsored by Channel4 and you have a disability you are bound to win,  I'm Disgusted >:(

Well I got Sarah right ! lol

I was really glad Rex got booted outside the top three although I really don't think it matters much to him anyway.  If that dozy bird of his actually thinks his behaviour is acceptable, then she's welcome to him.

the penny actually seemed to drop with Darnell, i thought he came over quite well during the evening (apart from having to be told a million times to hold his mic up closer).

I was a little disappointed that Mikey only came second but happy enough with Rachel as the winner.  Little bit boring but nice.  Nice wins over controversial - novel concept !   ;D

Well that's it for another year.  The final night always depresses me.  When BB starts, we've got the whole summer ahead of us but when it finishes, it's winter drawers on.

Still, we've got X-factor and strictly starts tonight ........  :o

I would like to see BB move from Channel4 and have more of a cross section of people in there because when you look at the people that are in the BB house they seem to me to be rather plastic and not the salt of the earth :)

apologies .... Strictly STILL hasn't started ...... how many weeks notice do we need from the trailers saying "coming soon" ????

I think there are one or two (Mikey, Rachel)  in there that signed up for the experience rather than the glamour, although I'm sure that Rachel will end doing her fair share of club openings.  I don't know whethere they have a resident shrink slot on one of the spin off progs.  I used to enjoy hearing what the professionals made of the whole shebang.
