A new peril!
« on: May 27, 2008, 17:08:56 »
There was mention earlier of Tomato foliage snapping off.  Well, I've not only got it on the Toms, but my Potatoes as well. The Potato haulms snapped off in the rain.

You're not on your own there Tim, my spuds all took a bashing in the garden over the weekend, although the lottie ones seem ok, more than I can say for my bean poles! Think I can salvage a few of the spuds, but not many by the looks of it.  :'(
What I lack in ability and experience, I make up for in sheer enthusiasm!!!

My raspberries are looking a bit windswept. Quite a few of the branches have broken off. Only the first year for them so hopefully next years will be fastened up a bit better. Spuds look ok though
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
