Mulch for cabbages
«

Hiya,
I'd like to mulch around my cabbages.... would well rotted manure be any good as I didn't manure the ground before planting, and would hope that manure as a mulch wouldn't be too rich for them.
All thoughts are welcome.

Go for it :)
Any leafy veg such as cabbage loves nitrogen and manure provides that but dont let the mulch touch the cabbage as it may burn it if the manure is fresh.
