Topic: Kitten thinks he has a new outside toilet!!!

HI

I have recently built my first raised bed and filled with compost, manure and soil. Its sitting waiting to get going but my kitten thinks its his new toilet and keeps pooping in it!! ::)

I plan on covering it once i sow but is there any harm him doing this in the meantime?  Should i put a firm stop to it now.

Is there anything i can get started on now as i am itching to get going?

Kitty poop isn't desirable in your veg beds, I would cover it now with some netting or chicken wire. Your veg wont be ruined by any means, but the last thing you want is to put your hand in it or have her/him scratch your seeds up.

I have a water pistol for my two if they get seen on my beds. They prefer next doors anyway as I do no dig so my beds have a crust. But I do have to protect seedbeds.
