yellow spider
« on: November 12, 2007, 15:21:33 »
spotted this next to my gate, not sure exactly what kind of spider he is, but he's very pretty.
he's actually spun his web on a weed that has yellow flowers, although you can't see them in this photo – isn't nature clever?!?

My cousin would name her house spiders - I think there was a Spencer, Sidney....

Your spider, Norfolklass, I'd say is a Malcolm.

Actually, Redclanger's is a Martina (perhaps has had its web broken by an errand tennis ball).

Malcolmia?

Or, perhaps, in remembrance of flings, they adopted the name of their last beau!
