Anyone tried mini-pumpkins?
« on: September 09, 2007, 00:09:34 »
A bit of idle seed website perusal got me interested in some of the mini-pumpkin varieties, I particularly like the looks of hooligan, babyboo and jack-be-little.

Does anyone have any experience of these - I'm particularly interested in whether they store like a full size pumpkin or need to be eaten right away. Also will they climb up a trellis of their own free will or will they need lots of tying in.

thanks!

Hello Tai Haku and welcome.
Jeannine is the pumkin expert  ;D and I'm sure she will advise you on what is best to grow and store etc.
I'm growing *Jack-Be-Little*. Only three survived but they are coming along ok (Fingers Crossed)
