I'm bugred if I can find the packet. Clearly it's an acorn type, but is it summer or winter & whatsit's name?? Oh, and aren't they gorgeous?

Dunno, but I quite like your ceramic butter dish.

Thanks Trixie. Robert Dyas couple quid, I suspect... It even has "Butter" helpfully written on the side, in case you forget what's inside.

HI

Some of mine are looking like yours!  All I planted was some butternut squash - some big pumpkin types, the usual courgettes and the last one was the turban shaped squashes.  How weird - none look like they should do!! Ho hum - tried roasting one of them and it was really scrummy!  so will have to attempt to invade the jungle where I planted about 15 plants on my old manure heap and see what else I can find?  All stinging nettles growing in there so should be a painful weekend!
