Wlko's seeds 75% off
« on: June 29, 2007, 18:29:06 »
Only went in to get some numbers for my plot and just couldn't resist it. Got some dahlia seeds named bishops children. They have dark foliage. Parsnip tender and true. Shirley Toms. Double busy lizzies and tobacco plants and some half price seed trays to sow them in. All of the seeds were 75%off. Will still buy most of my veg seed from real seeds though.

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Ok here we go!

melon earligold f1
pepper hot carribean blend
courgette gold rush f1
pepper corno di torro mixed
leek lyon prizetaker
leek musselburgh
marigold vanilla f1
spinach monet f1
courgette kojak f1
calabrese samson f1
rocket runway
datura ballerina tutu
datura wrightii
eryngium alpinum superbum
polyanthus large flowered mixed
lobelia trailing colour cascade mixed
petunia ramblin mixed f1

I am looking forward to the Daturas. I was fancying them in the T and M sale. I'm glad I didnt crack , as I got them a lot cheaper at Wilkos.

I have also had my eye on the vanilla marigolds for a while, and eryngiums looked interesting in the catalogues.

I love peppers, so got them to feed my addiction ;D

There werent any interesting tomato varieties :'(

Right then, anyone know when the Wyevale seed sale starts ::)

 :-[ :-[ :-[

Confession time!

I had to go to a different Wilkos today. Well, it seemed like a shame not to check what seeds they had left. ::)

I bought

Onion Bedfordshire Champion
Tomato Gardeners Delight
Tomato Tumbling Tom Red
Tomato Sweet Million f1
Cucumber telegraph Improved
Cucumber Marketmore
Wild rocket
Dahlia dwarf double mixed
Night Phlox Midnight Candy.

£10 worth for £2.50.

But I promise I wont go to any other Wilkinson stores in the near future.

Honest!!!!
