Rhubarb for how long?
« on: June 04, 2007, 14:54:12 »
How long will I be able to keep picking my rhubarb?
My idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility. Napoleon had that idea. He wanted to conquer the bloody world. I wanted Liverpool to be untouchable. My idea was to build Liverpool up and up until eventually everyone would have to submit and give in. Bill Shankly.

As long as you like but never denude the plant completely.

Eventually, depending upon how fast you use it it will become a bit 'stringy' then you might not want to use it.

Similarly if it runs to seed it will alter in taste & texture!

It gradually becomes less juicy as the summer goes on. Stop when it no longer suits your taste.
