Jammy or what
« on: April 08, 2007, 19:16:54 »
Somebody gave me a bird of paradise plant a couple of years ago, I stuck it in the poly tunnel at work and apart fom watering it left it alone. It came out in a couple of blooms last week so I took it home today.
I came in through the door and was greeted by a big smile from the old lady,

I thought you had forgotten again she said,  then I realised it was the wedding aniversary. Me forget said I, I've been all over the place to find you one of these in flower.

Glass of beer in hand, nice dinner in the oven. Who says there ain't a god.

20 years, and you would only get 7 for murder.

If I gave my wife any kind of flower her first question would be...
What have you done??????
followed by......
What do you want????????
I just don't understand it!!!!!!!

Have to agree with Honeybee's comment about your smooth tongue, ACE, but just think how much more impressed all we females on here (AND your wife!) would have been if you had followed on with "But that's only part of the surprise the rest is ................" then you could really have shown your appreciation for 20 years together  ;)

Eeeee look at all these sympathetic or light hearted responses ! From women anorl.  ACE you are a cad and a bounder!  You owe your lady an evening of wining and dining. Ofcourse then she'll be wondering "What have you done?" What do you want?"   Hehehe. Get out of that one then!

Happy Anniversary  ;D
