yesterday
« on: March 18, 2007, 15:36:44 »
Well you couldn't put 2 days together could you. I'm so glad we made the most of it. Managed to get so much done, Even had time to help the kiddies make a scarecrow (of sorts that is) Me mom liked it anyway (here she is trying to convince the kiddies that he's a nice chap really). The other 2 pics are showing you the progress we have made up to date. Got my sweet peas in so it starting to look like somethings  happening. Tracy has nearly dug out all her beds. I have almost caged up the muck heap.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

well being as there aren't many gardens nearby only high rise flats we won't have many flowers in the vicinity. I have planted some peach foxgloves. holly hocks that I grew last year. Sweet peas are halfway up the plot and some Crocosima at the top. The bright green leaves are those orange lillies something like (hemorcalis) Will show you when they flower. The plot next door is never going to be let as its too near the railings so I have strewn it with all sorts from californian poppies to echinaer. foxgloves. field poppies. candytuft. All my spare seeds have gone on it.

Great pics again Shirl. Lovely to see Mum with the Great Grandchildren. You sure have worked hard and the results are brilliant.
