If Tim lived nearer their fate would be sealed - in my tum. Do you know, that's not too far short of my total crop from 4 plants this season. All on good muck-enriched mounds, all healthy plants, but with a certain reluctance to do the bizz. Weird. :(

I'm still harvesting Gold Rush and Kojac - but only because I have been religiously hand-pollinating the plants every day from the word go ::). All four of my courgette plants just didn't get the hang of it on their own. Talk about mollycoddle ::) - but at least I got an exceptional crop this year!! :) :)
What is the variety of your 'last of the lot' Tim?

White Bush & White Volunteer. This is them in their younger days.
I find them much more 'meaningful' than the run-of-the-mill ones.

My plants are still going strong. I got another marrow sized one because i missed it. I just plant the one plant next time as i can't seem to give them away! they're both now fruiting at two ends, somehow it branched. The receipe sounds good particularly as i have the spring onions as well.

I wanted two plants, so I planted 3 seeds *just in case* ... of course all 3 came up, and I couldn't throw one away now could I? So I've been harvesting enough courgettes to keep myself and three others in the office going all summer. Coming to the end now.
Had one or two massive ones but not too bad.
