So who says sparrows are not useful, this one has a beakful of caterpillars.

Like may grain eaters, sparrows are omnivorous around breeding time.  The chbicks like the concentrated protein for rapid growth.

It's great watching the sparrows picking off the greenfly from the roses, too.   Super picture
