Went out to a couple of garden centres today to buy daphnia. Aside from that we bought some water hyacinths, 3 for £10 at the first place ( didn't buy) 3 for £5 at the second. That's beside the point. I also spotted 6X on sale at both centres at £5.99 for 9 litres. It advertises well as an organic highly concentrated fertiliser. What's not mentioned is that it's actually Groworganic pellets using a different name for retail ( as informed by the manufacturer ). Groworganic can be bought at most allotment sheds for around £6-£7 for 20 litres. It's easy to assume that 6X is a superior product from the claims on the box but it's identical.
I only know this because an outside member of our shop kept asking if we could get it as it was loads better than Groworganic. I checked with the manufacturer who told me we already bought it under it's wholesale name lol. So much for it being way better.
