Foxes
« on: June 14, 2006, 22:18:37 »
I'm sure that this topic has come up before, but ......has anyone found a fox deterrent. The little blitters want to dig holes in my raised beds - I am netting everything but the courgettes are straining at the netting  and I can't face taking the netting off and coming back the next day to find the whole lot dug up. And No, I can't face spending all night down there guarding them either!!!! Any ideas would be very gratefully received!

I mentioned before that I use kindling sticks soaked in Renardine which does the bizz, but then someone said that it's now banned....just glad that my tin lasts and lasts and lasts...worth looking for in old hardware shops praps?

I'll try pepper in their favourte digging spots.
We have a real problem on our allotments - the fox cubs have a lovely time rolling and digging where ever they fancy - I have never bought so much netting as I have this year. And then there are the pigeons........
