Our local pound shop has lots of fleece gloves - in a range of colours - they made really good gardening gloves for cold days.  They  are very hard wearing, wash well and dry really quickly.

i tend to buy up these bargains and put them away for winter use only to find them  at the back of a cupboard again the following summer.... must get better organised.
