Just to let everyone know that Lidl's are selling Gardening stuff again from 20th April.

Star bargain appears to be a compost bin for £13.99, though I'll be buying a weed wand to replace the one that toerags stole from my shed when they broke in last week. >:(  Shan't be leaving it on the allotment this time! ;D

Sheldon, Birmingham.  I've put the pin on Google Earth where my shed is, in the allotments.  It's in an area with a satellite photo which is cool!  You can't miss it, there's a bl**dy great big Airport next door!

I was wondering the v. same thing, Weedbusta - glad you asked the question first ;D

Looking at the picture, thought it might be handy for achieving this 'fine tilth' stuff, but then I can just imagine clods of stubborn clay stuck to each prong and it merrily bouncing along the surface of the soil, doing nothing AT ALL >:(

There were packets of fleece, polythene and insect netting, all in the same bin, I classed them all as covers. :-[ clever slant I'll not let happen again. >:(

Ahh, possibly a problem of staff not knowing the difference???  I have seen similar in supermarkets... when I bought something which was not on multibuy, because someone had filled the shelf incorrectly... very anoying

Newbury had two (empty) sections, one for each. but all had been wiped out.
