Topic: Labells-any good buys?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Any advice where is the best place to buy plant labells. I am happy to buy on-line as the fuel to drive to the nearest town would most likely pay for the labells anyway.

I want the white plastic that you write on and stick in the pots or trays - or a similar alternative.

I did look an ebay but with postage its several pounds for just a hundred. They must be very cheap to produce so I wondered if there are any good suppliers where I could buy perhaps 500 or more at a reasonable price.

or any opaque plastic material.  Use permanent marker and re-use them nexy year when starting the same crops.

I use Wilko labels. I can't really tell the difference from more expensive lables. ;D

Like Wilkos.......cheapest around. Home-made ones, yoghurt pots, etc.....drawback is that they're not sturdy enough to bash into pots of soil & get too bendy......I've just hit a jackpot.....wooden lolly sticks, vintage I think......got about 500 of them.....me, one happy Easter Bunny ;D ;D ;D

when you are out and about in a town, pop into mcdonalds or starbucks etc, they do little wooden stirrers, they are quite narrow but the are free. the coffe places will also give you their coffee grounds for the compost heap. HTH

We  use plastic teaspoons from the poundshop I like the space
in the bowl for info !

Never tried this but like the idea of plastic spoons. Re usable? and the dish will hopefully keep the rain from washing off the  vital info as to what on earth you have planted there! :o
