Good climber for a shed

(1/2) > >>

boxingtortoise:
What is a nice climbing plant to put on the back of a shed?
Can you please tell me how to train a plant to climb a shed as well please.
The back of our shed gets little to no direct sunlight.
In fact, how would a man grow Honeysuckle up a shed?

The gardener:
Nail some inch thick laths to the hut then fix either wires or mesh to this then you will have all the necessary support.

Quite a few Clematis would grow under these conditions.

MagpieDi:
Agree with Gardener ! My clematis alpina thrives in similar aspect, as does a climbing hydrangea ( petiolaris ) Both flower profusely, and much prettier than Russian Vine!!  ;)  ;D

jethro:
On the old site i had a wisteria next to the shed, the trouble was that near the end the shed was nailled to it, it was the only thing keeping it up  ;D what i mean is the wisteria was keepimg the shed up?

MagpieDi:
Hahaha!!.....think I understand Jethro!!  ::)  ;D  Sounds as tho' you've had a hard day bonny lad !!  ;D  ....must be home time soon???  ;)  ;D
