Brown plastic beer bottles as Cloches
« on: February 24, 2006, 09:07:05 »
Well it all is explained above. Can I use brown clear plastic beer/cider bottles as cloches. Or would it hamper the light?

I have always wondered if I could use them. Has any one else used them?
I have used the clear ones before but never the coloured ones.

Thank you in advance.

I would say the brown will reduce the light too much at this time of year, might be OK later in the spring when light intensity increases.

Just my thoughts.
