Just had the surprise of my life, well not quite! lol  :o Just taken a look at my pond and find that the Water Buttercup is in flower! This is despite the cold weather and the snow we have had here! Anyone else come across similar growth in their ponds or even bog gardens?

yes my marsh marrygold was in flower just before Christmas and i does not usually flower to spring , has died back now hope it does still flower in spring , i also find that my fish are still feeding have not switch of this year , so i am just given them sweet corn from a can and they love it

My fish are feeding as well! I too have fed them with sweetcorn, eevrsince a fisherman friend told me that's what he used for bait!  :o
