I hope that restaurant is good and dark  ;D  My knees look flippin filthy.  it's all that ground in muck accummulated over the summer.  I always seem to be gardening on hands and knees (bad back yer know) so consequently my knees get ditched.  I;ve scrubbed em til they're as red as beetroots  ;D  thought I'd have to resort to the Jif  ;D

try lemon juice mixed with dead sea salt and olive oil - and scrub like mad!

Failing that I would go with the trouser suit ;D

Maybe I'm a little naive but for the first time this week I've seen a ladies evening trouser suite very similar to a mans in M/S including the satin tape on the outside of the trouser legs and the silk lapels.

Wardy. Aha my kind of talk.....snooker. Many many years ago when I was fifteen I was in the English championship of lady snooker players. My brother in law was manager of snooker hall in Eltham SE London all my spare time was spent in the hall. THEN I MET CHARLIE ;D

Well if they're the same as the lady referees wear, they are extremely smart, and definitely have my approval !!!

I'm pleased I said I was a bit naive,  but as there were fifty odd suits on the rail I assumed this was a new fashion for evening dress.

Outfit for the new civil partnerships?

I wouldn't be seen dead in a dinner suit.  Never had to wear one, hopefully never will.
