As I like to drink dandelion coffee I had this thought as I was digging out yet another ten foot dandelion root....can I make my own??? Seems a shame to waste these healthy roots, and there are plenty of them as i clear my new plot.

You can blanch dandelion leaves the same way as with endive etc, to remove the bitterness :) My ma used to make nettle and dandelion beer :)
