Don't talk to me about holidays. I am not going away til october and that is cub camp - hardly a relaxing time to soak up the sun. So I am afraid you are stuck with me for the time being.

I am really considering the Death option, if you know what I mean, but a nice death with a white fluffy kitten or something, cardboard cut out scythe. What do you think? Scythe carrying/two-stepping/kitten hugging/happy Death thingy? Lottie ;D

I did the Death thing many years ago for a New Years Party, just that, cardboard scythe on a long pole, large grey blanket and rope belt, drawn over my head (the blanket, not the belt), long cotton wool beard, my face whitened out with blackened eyes. My wife was 8 months pregnant and went as a nun. We had an absolute scream, everyone in the local pub seemed to be dressed up. Ah those happy memories ! ;D

Go as a dice? Or my preference, a penguin?

Sorry Lottie I can't think of anything much. I just keep thinking about a zebra carrying a bit of road ! I've resorted to dunking my chocolate into my cappacino. Always thought provoking that. :)

A zebra with a bit of road....Mmmmm, dice? Grey blanket over my head..... :o Mmmmmm, blow it!! Pass us the chocolate and cappacino!! Would like to vaguely resemble a female if at all possible.....! :-\ Last time we went to a party, I went as James Bond ::), My OH went as Money Penny......think he enjoyed putting on the make-up a bit too much for my liking. ;) Lottie

OK, assuming the nun is a bit boring, what about Lisa Minelli from Cabaret? Sorry not very good at this sort of thing! :-[

Bit late to the thread but I am not going on holiday either - bit broke. Hoping to set up a week away in November half term - after my boat comes in.

Got knocked off my pushbike two years ago - broke both my wrists it was entirely the drivier's fault - hoping legal issues might be resolved early autumn.
I hope you manage to raise your boat from the bottom of the sea.

You poor thing! Hope you win!! I'm sure I'll be able to raise my boat, if not will invest in submarine!! But same as you, no pennies for hols at min, haven't got a passport, nor has OH or kids, so would cost us the price of a holiday to get them!! Quite happy pootling though, especially having been listening to BA strike on radio! Lottie ;D
