Photo Wizard on XP
« on: July 30, 2005, 19:10:56 »
Somehow I have lost two of the 'Wizards' which come with Windows XP (and other versions too, no doubt). When you plug in and switch on a camera under normal circumstances a Wizard appears offering various choices as to what to do with the pictures, well not any more. I have reloaded all the camera software and most up to date drivers, still no Wizard. Now I have to go to Control -Camera drive-Autorun to get it.
Also gone is the Wizard which helps one print pictures. Normally one opens a file, selects the pictures one wants to print and then File-Print. Upcomes a Wizard allowing one choose the page layout etc. Not any more. This Wizard now only appears if I save the pictures to CD ten print from there. Again I have reloaded all the printer software and most recent drivers.
Anyone any ideas on how to get them back.

Have you tried getting in touch with Microsoft? I have found them to be most helpful.
