I've parted company with my current web host as they are a gang of crooks and have been threatening me :o 

Anyone have some good experience of web hosting and could recommend one for me.

Depends what you want - is it a low bandwith site, not many visitors ?

You may even be able to use the websace that comes with your internet connection, you can use a proper address with that space if set up correctly.
