Twospot.   That is Stalker Castle, up above Oban on the way to Fort William.

Trying hard to copy more Roy, but not efficient at this photo copying bit.

Thanks Carol, had initially thought it was Eilean Donan but soon realised it wasn't. Knew there was another castle up that way on an island but couldn't remember what. Mystery solved  ;D

:) Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous, ;) I so enjoyed my holidays there and my only regret now is that we never had a digital camera, we have snaps but my scanner only makes them look worse, mores the pity. :(

Some of those mountains are awesome, scary to, towering above us and at times making us feel a little claustrophobic in an awesome kind of way. ;D

Thanks Carol, I’ll not tire of Scotland’s Hills, Mountains and Lochs. ;D 8)

Hiya,

they are better reduced. Saves scrolling right to see full detail and then scrolling left to see who sez what.

Beautiful none the less (meant to put this first)

Fantastic Carol!  How I adore the Highlands and spent lots of holidays there in my teens.  Can smell the cold fresh clean air, see the moody moving colours and hear the wind in the mountains...................................................... Wonderful photographs Carol.

Awkward for text reading but awsome for views that I think outweighs the text. Take a peek at this. But before you do, click the righthand side bottom corner of the picture to expand to regular size.  http://www.gla.ac.uk/medicalgenetics/chighlands/nevisnebpan.jpg
