We lost our elderly whippet last year who was my right hand man in the garden.

We were not going to get another dog but then found this wee chap. This is Finn the Keeshond. I had one as a child and so here he is...he particularly likes to help dig borders when I'm digging.

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

He's gorgeous! Glad you've got a helping hand with the digging!

He's so cute, how old?  :happy7:

Lol, careful, our German shepherd loves to help in the garden too, digging is one of her favourite activities....unfortunately the results are usually a disaster and have me using some choice words!

We are distracting with a chewy stick as I sense impending future disaster!

He is obsessed with pulling out tussocks of grass and running around...great if couch grass but also suspect this could lead to early unwanted crop harvesting

Super dog..lab right as a button but knows what he wants...dog training classes start in a couple of weeks ;)

Love German Shepherds...had one years ago. He used to steal windfall apples.

What a cutie, it's hard to loose a beloved dog and having a lovely new on go just highlights the individuality of each one. I lost my Jakey in November and have two rescue dogs now who are so different despite being the same breeds. Here's to happy times with your new love!

Hector

Lovely to hear you have resumed two companions...the start of happy times :) We rescued two cats......their main aim in life is hiding socks.

Wee chap likes lounging against my bags of spent hops :) I've since discovered hops are highly toxic to dogs, so we won't be mulching with these any more.

Finn is lovely, well dome a super breed, my son a has a couple.  I love that snuggly feeling of Keeshonds so dense and soft,,  He looks very settled right there with you.

When God blesses you with a multitude of seeds double  the blessing by sharing your  seeds with other folks.

Hector

Thanks all, he is a lovely chap and l of joy :)

Jeannine, a cuddle from a Keeshond is are to describe. You are right snugly and  squidgy.

We are gently distracting him from his love of picking up a flower pot and circling garden at speed :)
