Two questions, is this a good time to buy and plant a water lily? next question, I have a stream running into my pond fed by a pump in the pond, I think water lily's need still water, so is a water lily a no go for my pond.

That's all folks  :icon_cheers:

I am no expert but looking around and in my books it does seem that moving water is not ideal for water lilies
However there are some plants similar to a water lily that thrive in running water.

Similarly I am no expert but I seem to remember that if it is a gentle stream, and a big enough pond with a small enough lily. It might be ok :glasses9:

Thanks for the replies, I may try to create a back water in the pond for a small water lily as John Miller suggested in a PM to me.
