What is your favourite herbal non herbal cure ?
From a dock leaf for a nettle sting to this one from Allotment Chick about Hollyhocks:
Hollyhock is a member of the mallow family
- They were an old herbal cure for sunburn (a compress of the levaes was applied)
- an infusion of the flowers was used to treat sore throats .
Most of the cottage garden plants were grown for other things not just for colour. My question is which ones do you use today? Teresa
