I think these are amazing

Julian works in chalk, so his art, which takes up to 3 days to complete, is there only as long as the elements allow.

'If it rains it means a lot of hard work for nothing'

The important thing for is to get a photo of it at the end.

'The secret is to set up a camera on a tripod and keep it in one spot and check every mark you make.  It's really just playing with perspective to make it appear different to what it really is.'

After the nonsense of unmade beds, piles of bricks, bisected cows and other such priceless 'works of art' - isn't it good to see that there are still some really talented artists about?

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing, Tee Gee.

I watched the documentry of him making the butterfly one, it was fantastic. He was a bit anoyed and found it hard to conentrate because a live band/concert set up about 100yds away from him in the square. Then the police tried to stop him.

He is a very clever man and way too much time on his hands Smiley

Incredible, truly wonderful. I cannot understand why anyone would object to these in chalk.. it must be very hard to see them wash away though.

Truly wonderful

Amazing!  Too bad they aren't permanently on a wall but the one of the little boy looking down into a city is priceless.
