Calcified Seaweed - Help

I intended to feed my overwintering onions with Hoof & Horn and what I can only described as a 'senior moment' used calcified seaweed instead!
Can anyone tell me if this will do the onions any harm and if not when should I go ahead and feed them with the high Nitrogen feed.

I would be very grateful for any advice.

Calcified seaweed contains calcium and various trace elements and minerals. It is usually used as a soil conditioner.

I would not have thought that there was any reason why you cannot add your nitrogen feed.

If you want to be on the safe side then water in the seaweed and wait one week before applying the nitrogen feed.
