I have just made three beds from my lawn would it be a good idea to mix manure into the three beds as I have checked the ph on them all as they all regester 6 on the ph scale as from the question you can see that I am new to all this many thanks

A lot depends upon what you plan to grow!

With three beds you are in the ideal position to start a 3 year rotation system.

Again subject to what you intend growing you could manure one leave the other two free of manure.

Next year you could manure the second bed, then the year after that you could manure the third bed.

Then each year after just manure each in turn as suggested above.

i have raised beds and am on clay so am keen to improve the soil.  I have used a combo of compost trenches, compost and manure.  I have also tried a little seaweed.  about 20 months in and it is really looking better - loads of humus mixed in now and i plan to keep doing this each winter.
