I seem to be infested more than ever with these little white mites on the root stock of my garlic and oinions. Really stunted the growth last season. Have now found them on the winter veg roots, Leeks and spuds have them. Any one know what they are and how to get rid of them?  I have finally got a few pictures of them. but having trouble posting them . I have added pictures to my Gallery , If you can look at them . Still cant find how to put image on  this  page.

Green sleeves or green hair , it depends on the direction of the wipe. Dont fear untill you have to shake hands.

I got an email from a soil expert in   with a link to a Bayer web site and there they were. Blind Springtail or proper name Onychiurus spp . Description of damage to plants exact. If your interested have a look.
