What is it with crochet ?

What is it with the crochet magazine The Art Of Crochet, that was launched recently is fetching silly prices on EBay ?

Issue 1 (cover price 99p) is going for around a tenner + £2.50 p&p. One, yesterday went for £14.50   +£2.50. There's even a Buy-It-Now for £17.99 +£2.75

Issue 2 (Cover price £1.99) goes for a more respectable £4.00 +£3.00, but thats still 100% markup on the cover price.

These are available on subscription for the cover price and anytime cancellation.

So who pays that much for a mag?

If that's the one I saw in Smiths it had a DVD - how to crochet.  Surely the folk that can bid on ebay can watch all the tutourial videos on youtube?
