Carnations, unfortunately the pressent national champion did not enter as he works at the park where the show is held so did not have time but if you go to Harrogate this year look for the entries by Paul Harmer.

your best bet is to check out your local papers, and look for the what's happening locally, news from the clubs etc. That's how I usually find out

 Cry Cry Cry Tongue Tongue Tongue

 Cool Your right I wish I was a bit younger but I still think of it terms;

The body is weak and the mind is still as strong as ever, and when I see exhibits like these it still gives me that old familiar buzz!

How did you do in the end? could we have a summary of your entries and results if it is not too embarrassing, not that you should feel embarrassed in that company.

I always found that taking part in such shows is a fulfilling experience in its self!

Well done!

I entered Celary, Cauli, yellow and red Tomatoes and Cucubers i was third in the cucumbrs. I had no intentions of entering the show it was a last minute decision and not having entered or visited this show before i did not know what to expect.
I may have done better but my main intrest in showing is the local Navy Club so i kept back for that. We had five leek club shows at one time untill about 10 years ago, the navy club is the only one left and i have always supported it. For 15 leek club members its a fantastic little show.

Now that's what i miss about village life was the annual show (and a lot of other things)... Sad Mrs wanted to move to a town 10+yrs ago and i stupidly said yes and now cannot afford to move back as the price of house's in a village are silly)

But above all that looked a very good show
