It is nearly 2 weeks since the judging of the "Best plot in Liverpool" competiotion and still no result.

I have published a video taken after the judging on YouTube.

My plot gets judged on Wednesday next.

Don't think it will win anything but what it has certainly done is; my fellow plot holder's plots are looking nicer for the competition.

What happens is; The site is judged as a whole (not individual plots) and is judged against other sites in the council area. ( we are in the over 25 plot class)

Last year we were awarded 'Best Site' so this 'clean/tidy up' to win again is certainly making the plots a nicer place to be.

All the plots are taken and there is no rubbish about.

I'm afraid most of the plot holders are not aware that their plots are judged in this manner ( and I want to keep it that way  8) ).

Two have us have gone head to head for 'Best plot' this year (this is by nomination only) as I said above I don't feel I will beat the other contender or the other contenders on other plots for that matter but it has least got a bit of a buzz going around the site and that to me can only be a good thing!

As mentioned above our plots are judged tomorrow and I thought you might like a sneak preview of what the judges will see;

This is the entire site;

This is my own plot which is entered for the individual plot but I think plot 6 is better but we will have to wait and see.

Plus these are only two of many so even both of these can lose out.

and while I am at it this is my garden as well!

Tee Gee, that is a lovely place, there are so many fine looking allotments there. Must be a wonderful place to spend time in, glad to see some people on one of the plots!
