So there I was cursing the Carex pendula for putting lots of seedlings all over the bottom of the Rock bank. I started to pull them up. ably assisted by a hen or two, when I noticed that the little plants had bulbs on the roots, now Carex does not have bulbs on its roots. The little plants were in fact seedling Roscoea, will have to wait and see which one though as they are equidistant from three different varieties. So good people it just goes to show, know your weeds!
