This must be so stressful for you. Allotments are supposed to be somehere to escape from the pressures of life - not cause them!

You said he'd moved from another site and some of his friends had come as well. That seems a bit odd.... did they maybe behave as badly and cause as much upset as they are on your site? Is there anyway you could find this out. Would be difficult because you'd have to be careful who you approached. If you posted the name of his old site on here, maybe someone would know something.

It makes me so angry when a small group of people think that they can behave as they like and that no-one can touch them. What about the Allotment Association? They must have come across situations like this before.

Ignoring the waiting list and re-letting some-one's plot has got to illegal. Before you tackle him, why not send copies of your plot contract to the council, the Allotment Association legal dept, and anyone else that's relevant, with a covering letter explaining that you are about to tackle a corrupt site sec and are afraid of what may happen to your records. That way if he does try anything, you've anticipated it.

Hi

I recently heard from someone in the east anglia area who has a simlar problem BUT its not just the site sec its the entire allotment association who have the council employee in there back pocket.

Worse the allotment association is not a consituted body and all the money goes into a limited company account.
