And made into pickled cabbage or what i think is called Sauerkraut ?
That cabbage looks beautiful. Why in a jar though?
Just really to keep it in, is there another way ?

If you have a cold cellar, you could keep heads of cabbage on a rack for a few months after cutting. Don't let that stop you pickling though ;D

aaaah. All is revealed. I didn't spot the note about pickling. Didn't know that you could pickle white cabbage. Brilliant. I'll have to have a go.
